• Where and how is Bluewater incorporated?

  Bluewater is the registered trademark of Bluewater Sweden AB, a privately-owned Swedish company. The founder, Mr. Bengt Rittri, also launched the leading global air-cleaning brand, Blueair, which was established in 1996 and sold to Unilever in 2016. The Bluewater brand comprises three water purifier product lines: the Bluewater Cleone, the Bluewater Spirit and the Bluewater PRO.

• Can you use any faucet with a Bluewater water purifier?

  We recommend you use a faucet designed specifically for RO use when installing a Bluewater water purifier.

• Can consumers change the filters themselves?

  Changing a filter is not hard. However, many of our dealers also offer attractive and popular service packages that include the changing of filters.

• How often do I need to change the filters?

  The frequency of filter change depends on water quality and varies from one area to another. In general, the pre-filters should be changed every six months.

• What differs Bluewater from other Reverse Osmosis solution providers?

  Bluewater’s two top of the line models, Bluewater Spirit and Bluewater PRO, utilize our patented SuperiorOsmosis™ technology that enables us to purify tap water faster, at a higher purification grade, and with less wastage. • So do Bluewater products remove bacteria?

  SuperiorOsmosis™ offers innovative second-generation reverse osmosis and removes anything larger than the water molecule, including bacteria. It drastically reduces any microorganisms in water. However, if you suspect that bacteria are present in your tap water, we also recommend adding UV-light.

• What kind of water do you purify?

  Bluewater’s focus is cleaning municipal water delivered to homes and light commercial enterprises. However, with the correct pre-filtration Bluewater technology can purify most types of water. For example, Bluewater can purify brackish water in the Swedish archipelago with TDS levels up to 7500 PPM.
